You said that maxko has own build since 10 years but that buil clearly doesn't work well for server since there's not really success in maxko history. Even if there was less private servers and more players arround...
Maybe its time to start change somethings on server ? Oh , i almost forgot this is maxko , so there's no really big , usefull changes. (Not blaming you or specific person)

Success is not just measured on the points that you mentioned.

Maybe we will increase stat requirement for Shield to 135 and Mace to 145.
Mixed builds will still be possible.
But they would have to sacrifice some HP or Str stats:
255 str + 135 int + 102 hp (BP with TShield)
247 str + 145 int + 100 hp (BP with TShield+TMace)

This would still work well with Spirit Armor Priest.

Will wait for more opinions.

i like the changes.. i m not playing from few weaks. but i think bp will no longer op if u able to reduce his ap..
i love changes.. and that's why maxko is one of the success private server till now.
only the one problem is about events. events should be more attractive more enjoyable.. x-mas event, valentines event, anniversary events need some changes. those events makes game attractive.
and remove lord dracula from cz, many of newbies get killed there multiple times. draculas in cz ,no point.

Mixed bp are too OP? maybe your talking about cheaters...
I'm warrior/Int Priest by default, but since there's low players online i chose a mix of int and battle priest (maybe i'm one of the first who do that)
The reason is simple, stay as attacker when i'm solo and use T shield/mace to support my party. Still, my low hp and defense just make me a big problem for my team..

I don't know if you really tested on real pk or is this post is just theorical. Using Tier shield/mace is just a way to help other when is no int priest online... remember we are running out of players.

We all want a fair play, and maybe we should start by tracking those cheaters and edit their characters 'till they turn off their tools :D lol !

Increase stats requirement for those weapons, or reduce defense armor for battle priest, it's a bad move.

in fact it was a request that I had from several players.
So I asked more people about it (mainly Priests) and also discussed it with some guys from staff.
Than I created this topic to get even more opinions (and I play BP sometimes ^^)

I think you cant have it all in 1 char - support and BP attack
If you want full str build you should die fast - thats how BP is supposed to be.
If you want a mixed build...you should sacrifice a lil AP.
- or have a side char with 160 int ;)

But the change was small actually.
I think its still fine for a mixed build.

From my point of view BP used to be okay , they die quite easy (beside some glitchers)

What makes them OP is when they change to Spirit set which does not require int.

You get a high def + hp bonus.

I used plenty times the built with HP set and it was very OP.Maybe for BP vs not the best , but yet for PK its tanky , can support and also solo.

Cheers from a guy who hates this server , but loves Anduin ! :)

I used to play with Spirit set - now more with Valk set.
Spirit set is nice vs Mage Partys, but having low mana I really found a downside in that build.

It's in my mind since a while, to raise the Int requirement on Spirit set to 160.
It would still give the advantage that it only requires 91str.
So people could put 241 stats into HP - with 160 int.

Anyway...its great to see you around!
But please dont hate the server...even if you might not like everyone that is around ;)

Actually there's a couple of BP glitchers/macro who are OP, the others can die really fast.
A bp only uses his mace when he have to face two or more enemies, and still it's hard. Spirit HP set is another help for bp,
but you just raise your HP and sacrifice defense.. and once again you are an easy target.
One good example of how easy bp die, is at BDW, doesn't matter if hes mixed or not.

Mixed BP was the beauty in our server, but maybe that's ok you took some ap from bp, but give us a chance to use:
60 heal
70 holy (subside)
plus zeus skill

I find the option to switch on armors actually very disturbing on a BP.

With the Spirit set you are able to tank 2-3 people for sure as a BP , which IMO is already OP.

With the build I used to play I could switch to valk / rons / spirits , depending on the situation.

BP's have mostly issues with Mana , so its only a problem when attacking mostly.

When im on tank mode ,with 1 mana pot i can use 10 k party heal once , and the loading time of the 10k party heal is almost 3times slower than mana pots loading time, which means u can use other heals in the same time (single heal)

For sure it depends how ur built though.

I had the feeling I was OP.

But hey if I felt OP , as a BP it just shows the level of skill in the server :D

So what do you think about giving the Spirit HP set a 160 int requirement (its 135 now)?
